WTF?!!!!
Excuse me a moment while i rant...Let's re-cap...Valentino is now retiring, YSL is dead, Peter Som is being replaced...WTF is going on! All I have to say is thank god for Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, and Karl Lagerfeld for keeping some of my favorite collections alive and thriving.
Musical in the making...
"For over a year, McLaren has been working on a Broadway musical, The Life and Times of Christian Dior, and plans to finalize the casting in New York over the next few months. The musical marks an extension of the fascination with designers we've seen recently, especially in the case of Coco Chanel, the subject of two forthcoming biopics — Coco avant Chanel and Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky. But of course, McLaren's piece will be about Dior, and set to music — authentic music of the period — no punk music here."

More Quotes
“Beginnings are scary. Endings are sad. It’s the middle that counts the most. So don’t look so hard for happy endings because you might miss the best part of the story.”
“There is an inner beauty about a woman who believes in herself, who knows she is capable of anything she puts her mind to. There is a beauty in the strength and determination of a woman who follows her own path, who isn’t thrown off by obstacles along the way. There is a beauty about a woman whose confidence comes from experiences - who knows she can fall, pick herself up, and keep going.”
“For every beauty, there is an eye somewhere to see it. For every truth, there is an ear somewhere to hear it. For every love, there is a heart somewhere to receive it.”
“Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints, and kill nothing but time.”
“It’s those moments when you drive around in a car full of people you love around a town too small for you. Where you gasp for breath between each laugh. It’s those moments where you get high off just breathing in so deep, you feel your lungs getting cold. For a second, that split second, you don’t care. You don’t care about school, about parents, about money, about rules, or broken hearts. Who you care about are the people sitting next to you. Yeah, the ones who make you feel invincible, even at your weakest points.”

SATS
SATS is a group of friends that I worked with at Victoria's Secret, they are all amazing in their own way, and I love them for their individuality. Anyways, the name SATS is short for Sex And The Suburbs...because our work was in a more residential area and we often met for drinks or dinner after a long day...and let me just say there are always juicy stories to be told, stellar advice to be given, and many many beverages to be consumed. We've all grown up a lot over the past few years but, our friendship has remained. If y'all have a close group of friends like I do...make sure you make an effort to all get together. It had been months since we got together, and it had been to long. My advice- no matter how busy you are in your life, make time for the ones that matter most.
Back on the educational grind
So I have had a break from school for the last 5 weeks, and it has been amazing. All I have done is worked and catch up with friends (and sleep for that matter) and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I'm back to school tomorrow, and therefore back to my daily grind of working 3 jobs, going to school, keepin up with the blog, and having a social life...btw did I ever mention how beautiful my school is?
