If I could have photos of heels everywhere, I would. Amazing how he tweeks the size-scale to make the pictures so visually seductive.

Junya Watanabe, styling the way you wanna be.

Junya Watanabe Spring/Summer 2010 collection
The last look I posted is my favorite. In love with the chocolate, white and taupe colorway. Perfect touch of tartan. More of a Fred Astaire feel.
Ah yes.

...Yup it's all going down at the Met, and the tix are $10 dollars to boot. Too bad plane tickets aren't that cheap.

The girl's killin it!

Campaigne dame, Christy Turlington is the girl to watch out for F/W '09.10 Not only did YSL put Turlington on, but so did Bally, alongside Orilo Elcacho (swoon).

This Friday

BET Awards, Hall of Shame

Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of amazing outfits worn on the red carpet, however, I personally didn't get to watch the awards and found the following images on the internet. I am greatly disappointed. Here are my honest opinions.

Mario, your head is lookin a little too shiny, and that shirt of yours has got to GO

Omarosa, you look like I put too much pink bubble gum in my mouth, blew a bubble, and stuck it on you.

Ryan Leslie, I know you were probably wearing that jacket in rememberance of MJ, but you just didn't do him justice. I'm sorry, I love you, but that jacket is tacky.

Beyonce is Balmain=perfection. However those shoes belong in a salsa club, or at wasteland on haight st.

Dear Ginuwine, get your suits tailored.

Christy Turlington for YSL Fall 09

Madonna for LV Fall 2009

I am really disappointed in this campaign. Shot by the amazing Steven Meisel, and all I can see are vague fragments of fabric and shape, and a very photo-shopped Madonna.

A man dressed in Dior Homme, is a man for me

Chanel Fall/Winter Ad Campaign

Of course shot by Karl Lagerfeld. I must say these images are stunning. The photography and the filters are so on point. *Major props* to Karl and his beautiful eye.

Soulmates.

"A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we’re safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we’re two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we’ve found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life."

*Your soulmate doesn't have to be a lover, but it is someone, just a person...a being, who fits the above criteria. This is dedicated to my business partner, best friend, and most importantly- My Soulmate Ariana.

Fabulous Flight

Kate Moss helped Virgin Atlantic celebrate their 25th Anniversary, dressed like 1 of their Vargas pin up girls the appear on each side of the plane.

The Paris Sneakers Collection

I usually don't love Lacoste items, however I must say I do love the look of their new "Paris Sneakers" collection. Though I would not personally wear these shoes, I would most certainly admire and respect a man that did.

New Colorways

Dreaming of Threads

“wear clothes that you dream about.. instead of wanting to stand out or fit in or make an impression.. dream of who you are, and wear it. fashion is just creative minds dreaming and bringing it to life. each designer is a nerd, because he or she is not afraid of how they look."

irrevocable

The night we met, my mouth said, “nice to meet you.”
My heart said, “oh, i’ve found you.”

Moment of Silence

Ryan Leslie's Michael Jackson Tribute from Ryan Leslie on Vimeo.

"The reverence I experienced in the room at that moment will stay with me for life.

The end of this clip shows me reverting back to my childhood for a moment during soundcheck. For a few seconds, I took off my cool and became the little boy that believed I could be just like him. I’m sure many of us can remember what came over us when we saw Michael perform. We wanted to dance like he did - to feel the exhilaration and pass on the electricity that we’d just experienced. I appreciate Michael’s contribution to my life. In many ways his music, videos, and live performances lit the spark in me to pursue the career path that I chose as a young teenager. His ability to bring people together in peace and celebration serves as a standard to which we as entertainers are all measured."

Dsquared² Fall/Winter 09/10 Campaign

Lara Stone absolutely killed it in these photos. I love the heavy makeup.

*pause* check out the alligator coat below, I'm IN love.
