Honoring ten years of Russian Vogue, 31 top designers, took part in designing special art pieces, in shape of world famous Russian Babooshka's, set to be a part of a special charity auction by Russian Vogue magazine and Matrioshka's gallery. One of the greatest rappers of all time, Tupac Shakur was born June 16, 1971 and passed September 13, 1996. During his time here on earth, he became one of the leading rappers in the industry, dabbled in the acting world, and was a social activist. He fought for equality, and never gave up on his beliefs. To this day, I can not compare Tupac to any other rapper who is so passionate about what they are doing. There is no other rapper out there that is so lyrically mind blowing. Tupac is the greatest rapper of all time. He is a legacy. So on this day, I ask you all to pop in your favorite Tupac jam and blast it all day.

my mother and her business partner, JoAnn Hartley, created this amazing fire pit. It is currently on display at the San Francisco Design Center. I couldn't be more proud of the creative ladies of H2.

...open the door? Designer Naomi Thellier de Poncheville brings to you a door handle named "hand-le" (produced by Pol's Potten). Naomi Thellier has many other intricate pieces like "water carafe" and her "bottle pots". I find myself investigating their structure like a little kid. All of her product creations have cool ideaology behind them, combining unique designs and practical functions. Additionally, her jewelry is worth checking out and her interior designs are fire. A round of applause please!

R.I.P. Shawn Mortensen

Shawn’s hearty career as a photojournalist and artist took him around the world several times over, unselfishly spreading his endless supply of good vibes as he went. Particularly renowned for his portraits of musicians, artists, and entertainers, Shawn photographed a stunning array of pop culture demigods in his 20+ year career including Keith Haring, Tupac, Henry Rollins, James Brown, The Notorious BIG, Bjork, Jun Takahashi, Leo Fitzpatrick, Christopher Wool, Mark Gonzales, Ed Ruscha, Vivienne Westwood, The Bad Brains, Dash Snow, Grandmaster Flash, Neil Young, MIA, John Lee Hooker, Nigo, Sofia Coppola, Agnes B., Sonic Youth, The Beastie Boys, Keith Richards, Chloe Sevigny, The Foo Fighters, Everlast, Kraftwerk, Wu Tang Clan, and The Sex Pistols, to name but a few. Shawn was also a successful commercial photographer who worked with clients like SUPREME and NIKE, and publications like VIBE, and I-D Magazine, where his streetwise eye was a highly prized commodity. Within the artistic community of his homeland of Los Angeles, Mortensen was a local legend whose constant presence at weekly art openings was a staple of the scene, his favorite Polaroid camera always in hand.

I present to you the $1,865 leather toe detail pump. Behold a new revelation.. one I feel I must see in person before making judgement. Does this mean the new question is: Will it work with my toes?
