THIS. NEED!

Delfina Delettrez, who is an heir to the Fendi empire, is the designer behind this piece. If I had $25553.00 laying around that I could spend freely, this beauty would be all mine.

Wedge Love

Get 6 inches closer to heaven in these Charlotte Olympia Martha In Stripes Wedges. Personally, (already being 5'10") I would gladly raise the stakes to a teetering 6'4" for these sexy beasts.

B&W for Elle Hungary

Barbara Palvin shined in ELLE Hungary in some stunning black & white ensembles, in color, and black & white photos. Palvin wore Louis Vuitton, Max Mara, Moschino, La Perla, Just Cavalli, D&G and Sergio Rossi (just to name a few) in the spread. There isn't anything I don't like about these photos.

Earlier post

Went to H&M and bought a hot pair of leather skinny's. I'll post pictures as soon as I take them, but the weather in SF has been too hot to even put back on after trying on. They'll be my favorite Fall/Winter addition.

On my mind...

All I've been thinking about lately is how bad I need a pair of black leather shorts. They seem pretty perfect for a Summer-Fall transition piece. Any suggestions?

Patiently awaiting, September 13th

Hilary Rhoda, Selita Ebanks, Elizabeth Olsen, and many more celebs came out to check out the new Missoni for Target line, last night in New York. I have been in love with Missoni for years, and am actually quite impressed with what they've come up with for Target. Affordable fabulousness? Ummm YES PLEASE! The line drops September 13th at a Target near you...I know what I'll be doing next Tuesday! :)

It's FNO!

Fashion's Night Out may have been birthed in New York, but you can celebrate it in San Francisco! I recommend stores such as:
*Banana Republic (flagship store)
*Cole Haan
*Fashionphile
*Gucci
*Macys (union square)
*Marc Jacobs
*Neimans
*Saks
*Westfield shoppping center

and, personally, I can't WAIT to check out the new expanded Bottega Veneta who will be debuting their first womens fragrance which won't be out until September 15th...they'll also be having complimentary cocktails so there's no way you won't enjoy this event!

Shop til you drop and support our love for fashion!

Escaping

Currently, I'm in Tahoe Donner...relaxing, decompressing, and concentrating on myself...work has penetrated my escape from the city a bit, but all in all, I feel absolutely rejuvenated. I woke up early this morning and took my dogs for a hike, and then headed to the lake to soak up some rays...which didn't end so well, because now I am soaking in aloe vera gel. Lol.

Finally had time to catch up with my September issues...

Tahoe Donner is so beautiful, any time of year.

This is me, off duty. No pants, and a Michael Jordan basketball jersey...don't judge me, I'm on vacation.

Be back tomorrow!!!!

Ode to Elizabeth Taylor

Kate Winslet did a stunning job channeling the one and only Elizabeth Taylor for V Magazines Fall issue. This spread embodies the glamorous side we all love about Taylor.

This earring. AMAZING.

I don't know who makes this, but I randomly stumbled upon it...readers, I need your help again! Any idea who the designer is?!

Thanks loves!

Save me, San Francisco

Heard this song on the radio for the first time today, and it really struck a cord with me...not because it had anything to do with San Francisco, but because the lyrics ironically; hit home. Check out the song.

I used to love the tenderloin
until I made some tender coin
and then I met some ladies from Marin
We Took the Highway to the one,
up the coast to catch some sun
that left me with these blisters on my skin
don’t know what I was on,
but I think it grows in Oregon,
so I kept on goin going on right through
I drove into Seattle Rain
fell in love then missed the train
that could have took me right back home to you

CHORUS:
I've been high, I've been low, I've been yes and I've been oh hell no!
I've been rock ‘n roll and disco,
won’t you save me san francisco?

Every day so caffienated
I wish they were Golden Gated
Fillmore couldn’t feel more miles away
So wrap me up return to sender
lets forget this five year bender
Take me to my city by the bay!

I never knew all that i had,
now Alcatraz don’t sound so bad
at least they have a hella fine below (?)
If I could wish upon a star
I would hitch a cable car
to the place that I can always call my own!

I've been high I've been low,
I've been yes and I've been oh, hell no!
I been rock ‘n roll and disco,
won’t you save me San Francisco?
I've been up, I've been down,
I've been so damn lost since you’re not around,
I been reggae and calypso
won’t you save me San Francisco?

To tell you the truth
I miss everything, everything
It’s a wild, wild beautiful world
but there’s a wide eyed girl back there
and she means everything, everything,

I've been stop
I've been go
I've been yes and I've been oh, hell no!
I've been rock and roll and disco,
won’t you save me San Francisco?
I've been up,I've been down,
I've been so damn lost
since you’re not around,
I've been reggae and calypso,
won’t you save me San Francisco?

Another Abbey Post

I'm sure all of you know about the highly anticipated Donatella Versace for H&M collab right? Well, it keeps getting better, Abbey is teaming up with the two powerhouses and is modeling for the campaign...here's the sneak-peek!

They sure don't make 'em like they used to

A great example of how quality sure has dwindled over the last few decades. Here we have a gorgeous NYC train from the 1920's.

"As part of the “Compliments of Nucky” campaign promoting the September 25 return of period drama Boardwalk Empire, HBO is putting a vintage 1920s train back on the track on New York's 2 / 3 line."

To me, these trains were classic and beautiful...wish they still looked like this.

Abbey Lee for Numero #126

Abbey Lee Kershaw wearing the beautiful designs of designers such as Prada, Alexis Bittar and Alexander McQueen for the September issue of Numero Magazine. I'm loving the delicate and harsh & dark and light contrast portrayed in each shot.

Miu Miu I adore you, and want to rock with you all Fall

Beautiful singers I've been following for a little while now. I love both of these songs, both have powerful lyrics.

This spine jewelry is so dope. Not much commentary needed. You can purchase from the SF based designers of Litter SF here.

How to Love

Lil Wayne - How To Love (OFFICIAL VIDEO) by vjarmanisuits
Obsessed with this Lil Wayne track, right now I can totally relate to the lyrics, and I like how different this song is compared to what he usually does. Here's the official video.

Finger lickin' good?

Not sure about this one. Vans made cheeseburger slip-ons for Fall 2011...not my cup of tea but worth talking about.

For all my Parisian readers

Band of Outsiders

Their 2011 lookbook features none other than Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy, (for those of you that aren't crazy Harry Potter fans that's Rupert Grint and Tom Felton) and boy do these fellas look all grown up! I'm digging the looks and the style in which these were shot.

How Hollywood of you

I'm a a lover of all things lingerie, and when it comes to Agent Provocateur it is no different. Beautiful detailing, gorgeous framing, however questionable marketing. Nonetheless they've got my dollar.

SELF

I don't buy too many magazines monthly anymore due to the fact that everything is online now, but SELF magazine is now one of those magazines that I must buy, and read cover to cover religiously. It's a great read, full of exercise tips, fashion advice, food recipes, interesting articles, and way more. Check out their most recent issue, ladies, you won't be disappointed.

Western meets biker gang

Alexander McQueen (roughly $600) boots are to die for. Western buckles, with a dash of badass biker chick all wrapped up in one shoe. These would look great with a LBD.

Accessorize

For October's issue of Vogue Japan, Julia Stegner rocks this seasons hot looks with even hotter accessories. Major fan of the crimped hair...going to be a must hair style for the Fall.

MAJOR APOLOGIES

Well, I guess you could call it a 4 month hiatus...The last few months have been hectic and to be honest, uninspiring. My focus steered away from myself, but I have somehow found my way back. It is now September, which is when I consider it to be the new year, well in the fashion world itleast, and I hope to revive Secrets.
