In case you didn't know, Coco Chanel's zodiac sign is the Leo. The video above is of how it took 30 sculptors, 3 months, to sculpt a 12 meter lion for the Haute Couture show. It really amazes me how Karl Lagerfeld comes up with these brilliant ideas. But I guess that is why he is so successful. Below, is the video of the actual show.
Erin Wasson shot by David Mushegain, returned to her home state of Texas to shoot this spread for Elle Italia August 2010. Kind of odd they shot in Texas, when the magazine is for Italy, but whatever, I'm with it. She really looks like she is in her element here and nothing could be more natural. Why does everything that comes out of Alexander Wang's sketch book have to tug at my heart strings...it's just not fair. I always want everything. And now it is these Devon open-toed boots with grey suede & lizard panels that I am craving.
Penelope Cruz to star in Pirates of the Caribbean 4?! I had no idea there was going to be a fourth...have I been living under a rock? Honestly my sincere dedication for my love of the 1st movie, brought me to watch the 2nd and 3rd, I will definitely watch the 4th. But the 1st was definitely the best.

RVCA is one of my favorite brands, and Erin Wasson for RVCA is most definitely my favorite sub brand. I do significant damage to my bank account everytime she drops a new season. I am definitely in love with the new Fall lookbook. Model and designer Erin poses the seasons best in front of illustrations drawn by Alia Tenner.

I started this skirt last summer when I was inspired by something I found in the fabric store. I ran out of feathers and had to order them specially so that I could complete it. I wore it out for the first time for Rose's surprise birthday party over the weekend! All the compliments definitely motivated me to make more pieces...hopefully it takes me less than a year next time. Lol.

As most of you know it's couture week in Paris. And no, I won't be posting all of my favorite collections because there are just too many. BUT I did have to post these Chanel beauties. I thought it was a fun way to mix up Chanel's classy take on a woman wearing pearls.
