Happy Holidays!

Sorry the city girls have been so absent, the holidays sure are catching up with us! Things have been so hectic lately for both of us, so we are sorry for neglecting the blog. We will continue to take a break from the blog until after the new year. We will be spending time with friends and family from all over, and we will also be traveling. But thank you again for reading our blog! We appreciate you so much! Happy Holidays everyone!

Bepriv Paris is about to launch their "Street Setter" project...and I kind of love these tee's.
The customers who gonna have bought the BEPRIV x STREET SETTER tee-shirt, could shoot themself wearing the tee in different kind of place. The whole idea is then to send your best shot with the tee to BEPRIV team. And the winner will get 250 euros prize money.

A toast to my girls

"This is for the girls who don’t always win, who stay up all night listening to music that inspires them to do things next to the impossible. The girls who laugh, smile, cry and think all on a daily basis. The girls who like, learn, and regret. The girls who may never have it easy. The girls who learn the hard way and live to tell about it. The real girls. Cheers."

RP / Encore

Well, I found this new site...I actually really love their pieces. They definitely have a different spin on jewelry, and it's a little dark and twisted...but I like it. To check them out, click here.

Here is the London Caught Mouse Pendant. The eyes are Swarovski crystals.

The Perfect Sunday Movie

"You are the perfect verse over a tight beat."
"So what's the difference between rap and hip hop? It's simple. It's like sayin' you love somebody and bein' in love with somebody. Rap is only a word."

This Wednesday!

This Wednesday, come out to Starlight room and have a cocktail with me & my agency! It's a holiday party for a great cause! Please bring a gift (unwrapped)! Hope to see y'all there!

Fashion first, safety second

Les Ateliers Ruby founder Jérôme Coste and Karl Lagerfeld created this stunning tweed helmet. As seen this one is €1,200. But let's say you aren't a fan of tweed? It's also available in white rabbit fur, fabric embroidered with pearls, or black minx. Leave it to Lagerfeld to make safety so fashionable.

Our other creative outlets...

The one that got away

It's rare when you find an accessory or piece of clothing that you literally dream about. For me, the Chanel gun heel was one of them. Before they were even released, I headed to the Chanel store in SF to get myself on the waiting list...but I was too late.

Maison Martin Margiela from head-to-toe

The blazer, the cotton tee, the cummberbund, the trousers, and the shoes, all done by MMM. This is one of my favorite brands because of outfits like these...simple elegance, with a twist.

alice + olivia LBD

mixing leather in with a cotton or stretch material is a hot way to jazz up any LBD.

Yahoo Presents "Sound Decisions" - Ryan Leslie Doc from Ryan Leslie on Vimeo.

Ryan Leslie is no ordinary musician, and that is why I am a fan of his. He is creative, intelligent, caring, and driven. Just watch the'll understand this man's passion.

Twitter Craze

The December 2009 Vogue edition will be dedicated to twitter. On the cover, and inside the magazine, the models have supposedly photographed themselves as they would for a "twitpic". Stay tuned...

By the way:

Paris-Shanghai...another Chanel short film, directed by Karl Lagerfeld

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

So fabulous! This 22 minute short film was projected against the Shanghai cityscape during the Pre-Fall presentation. I love how designers are creating short films about the brand, the clothes, or the season.

You Can Be "At Last" by Etta James

I posted a version of this before, but Rudy's live performance is so moving. He ceases to come up with the most amorous phrases and sentences...and honestly he says what love is. I fall in love everytime he drops a metaphor. Please listen closely.

My great friend J.D. Elquist made it on one of my favorite fashion blogs today...I feel like a proud mama. It's the first fashion blog that I ever started following. Most of you probably have heard of....."The Cut"!!!!!! SO EXCITING!!!! Click here

This Friday: Mad Science

The "any-way" dress

This dress by Bottega Veneta can be worn alone with a sexy black heel, or layered with a big fur coat, gold jewelry, and a hot pair of ankle booties...either way this dress is perfection.

It's a panties parade

Sonia Rykiel for H&M

Balmain <3

If fashion is my religion, Karl Lagerfeld is my God...

and Vogue is my bible.

I'm back!

My good friend Justin from Arizona came to visit and he stayed for 5 days and basically hijacked my computer. LOL. While he was here we had some turkey, good wine, and went ice skating. It's always good to spend time with friends over the holidays.
