Publish

Publish debuts its Spring 2011 Collection, a nod to the relationship between music and fashion. "Wayfaring Strangers" by Jeremy Steig is the first Jazz inspiration to prompt the Publish family's creation of something major as the message behind this season, and those to follow. "We aspire to believe that our clothing, like a string or horn section, is improvised and poetic. Through our art and innovation we hope to tell a story." Publish brings forth a refreshing line that embodies today's coveted romance between streetwear and upper end refinement. ...Perhaps reminiscent of Jeremy Steig's passion for flutes and motorcycles. The endless piecing possibilities Publish presents are insane-- the ultimate ideal. Although Publish enters Spring as the self-admitted stranger, everyone should be familiar, including Miles Davis, by Summertime...

Drum roll please..........

Tired of the same old bullshit on New Years Eve? Overcrowded, overpriced, and just not worth it? Yeah, it sounds like every other party to me. EXCEPT for Otis Lounge...if you've never been, now is your chance to have a New Years Eve you will always remember. I'll be there, and so will the girls, plus tons of other fabulous people of San Francisco. I recommend getting your tickets early ;)

Tomorrow Night

Good friend DJ Hakobo is definitely gonna bring it tomorrow night at SOM (16th & Mission, SF) I recommend heading over there for some good drinks and good music!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Angel Santa Cruz!

5 years a go I applied to work at Victoria's Secret. Little did I know that I would meet some amazing women that would become dear friends to me to this day. I love these girls through thick & thin, and bras & panties. Hiba is the first one to be wed and she looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day. So I would like to congratulate the beautiful couple and wish them a lifetime of happiness.

Happy 420

420 originated at our high school back in 1971.
"The term originated from a group of teenagers at San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California, United States in 1971. The teens would meet after school at 4:20 p.m. to smoke marijuana at the Louis Pasteur statue.

According to an April 2009 article on the The Huffington Post, the group called itself the Waldos because its members hung out by a wall after school. Writer Ryan Grim, citing interviews with anonymous Waldos, claims that the group met by the statue at 4:20 p.m. to begin a search for a crop of abandoned cannabis growing near Point Reyes that they had heard about. They never found the stash, Grim writes, but smoked plenty of marijuana while looking for it"

Hiba's Engagement Party!

Who would have thought that bras & panties would have brought all of us girls together 6 years a go, and would create life long relationships? Met these ladies when we all worked at Victoria's Secret. We all couldn't be more excited for Hiba & Angel and had such an amazing time celebrating their union last night! Can't wait for the wedding!

This Saturday!!!!

I know the weekend is just barely ending, but mark this down in your calendar for next weekend!

JD came to visit!

JD left this morning :( and got here this past Sunday. I was just starting to get used to him being around before he left. He is one of my best friends who just happens to live on the other side of the United States. Since I had to work while he was here, we didn't get to do as many things as we would have liked. But his last full day in SF was simply beautiful. We laid in the park, he had $2 beers, smoked Cuban cigars, and had dinner with my parents. Miss this kid already. Oh, and happy early bday JD.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANA!!!!

Nana.
Where would I be without you? I don’t think I’ve ever met someone that brings so much light into life...you are undoubtedly, my necessity. I love you and nothing is as good, as when it happens with you by my side...and nothing is as bad, when I have you to catch my fall. You are not only a best friend but a rare find. Rare because you have a good heart; the right heart. Rare because at the end of the day, you get me; you understand. You never skip a beat. If I could plan the rest of our life’s monumental moments, I’d pair them together to enable us to be side by side, or interchange them for the same reason. Whenever I think of what will get me by when rough is the only adjective to describe my journey--no it’s not alcohol, It’s you. ...Okay, and maybe some alcohol. But what good is a bottle of wine to drown myself in without a person to help me float, and what good is a glass of wine without another swimmer to toast with? Life is simpler with two heads, and a lot more fun with two hearts. So Happy Birthday to my Soulmate. Another year. Thank you. I Love you.

(and yes i’m completely obliterated in this picture. sue me.)

Happy Birthday Katie B!!!!

She was the first girl that I met when I first went to college. We clicked instantly and have had a special friendship ever since. We occasionally still refer to each other as "roomie" even though we only lived together for like a month. She's helped me through a lot, and she is one of the strongest females I know. Happy birthday Miss Katie B! Love you!!!!
