My definition of Style

I hate it when people try and categorize me into a particular definition of style. Just because I wear sneakers does not make me a sneakerhead. Just because I wear heels doesn't mean I'm a girly girl. I am me. I am my own style. Some girls are the "Abercrombie & Fitch" type, or maybe they're the "tom-boy." Most people do have one type of style. Me on the other hand, not so much. I was talking with Kate Starr the other day, and I said to her I must have ADHD when it comes to my closet. One day I look like a librarian, the next a surfer chick, and the day after that a motorcycle riding-ass kicking-combat boot wearing girl. I think people need to have more fun when they get dressed. Don't take it so seriously.

The Hurry up & Wait...

In modeling there is a widely used term called, "the hurry up & wait." It means there is almost a state of urgency where you have to hurry up and get your make-up done, or hurry up and get in your first look, or hurry up and get your hair done. And when you are hurried you believe that if you don't act fast, you're going to miss your chance. HOWEVER, then comes the wait period, which is usually a long period of time after you were just hurried. And you wait, and wait, and wait, until finally it's show time. Anyways just wanted to educate y'all on some of the lingo. These pics were taken while we were in our "wait" period. Usually entailing goofing around, gossiping, or eating until it's time to get down to business. Lucky for us, we were in beautiful San Jose soaking up the sun.
