The World
The relationship you have with the world is just like any other relationship. Every now and again, even if it's pissed you off for no good reason, you have to look it in the eyes and say: I love you.<
The Need for Honesty after Midnight.
The need for honesty after midnight.
When the clock hits one minute before
It begins..
My head races.
So fast.
Faster than a kentucky derby winner...
faster than the winds of Hurricane Katrina...
so
fucking
fast.
My heart beats strong.
So firmly..
better than the little drummer boy everybody sings about around Christmas.
I need honesty in this hour.
I'm sick of talking endlessly about my wants.
This time I need.
For your eyes to meet mine and just be..
simple.
truthful.
honest.
I can't do this dance around anymore..
where we touch on lies, and go off hopes...
and really never know where each other's feet are.
or where we stand.
Stop Moving.
Start telling.
I NEED to sleep.
I could go without honesty in the mornings when I wake up..
I am busy..
I have many things to do...
I will find thoughts to occupy my mind..
But right now it is midnight and
I'm begging you to let me sleep
for once.
Please.
Put me to sleep finally.
with some honesty.

Eat Pray Love Quote #1

"The fact is, I had become addicted to David, (in my defense, he had fostered this, being something of a "man-fatale"), and now that his attention was wavering, I was suffering the easily forseeable consequences. Addiction is the hallmark of every infatuation-based love story. It all begins when the object of your adoration bestows upon you a heady, hallucinogenic dose of something you never even dared to admit that you wanted--an emotional speedball perhaps, of thunderous love and roiling excitement. Soon you start craving that intense attention with the hungry obsession of any junkie. When the drug is withheld, you promptly turn sick, crazy and depleted (not to mention resentful of the dealer who encouraged this addiction in the first place but who now refuses to pony up the good stuff anymore--despite the fact that you know he has it hidden somewhere, goddamn it, because he used to give it to you for free). Next stage finds you skinny and shaking in a corner, certain only that you would sell your soul or rob your neighbors just to have that thing even one more time. Meanwhile the object of your adoration has now become repulsed by you. He looks at you like you're someone he's never met before, much less someone he once loved with high passion. The irony is, you can hardly blame him. I mean, check yourself out. You're a pathetic mess, unrecognizable even to your own eyes."
The Blame Game
Sometimes relationships come to and end, and sometimes if you're lucky they flourish. It's easy to point the finger at the other person once things go sour/end/hit a speed bump or whatever. But before you go blaming the other person, be sure to look at yourself, and what you may have contributed to the relationship. Or maybe just recognize that what you had to offer, the other wasn't able to appreciate it. But do not, and I repeat do NOT try and blame an outside source for the break up. I've been in this situation, and I have tried to blame another woman for the fact that my boyfriend was a slut. But guess what, it wasn't her fault, it was his. He couldn't keep his dick in his pants. Or if your significant other chooses to work more, or hang out with friends more, than hang out with you; you can't blame the friends or his work. It is his fault for choosing to do those other things than to hang out with you. And why would you want to be with someone like that anyways? We've all been in some fucked up situation or another where we want to blame someone else for the problems that lie within our own relationship in order to easily forgive your lover, but if these problems were to arise, and there is a possible outside source (girl, friend, work, whatever) why would you want to be with them anyway?
Not usually my thing, but...
Get that Aztec Style
Just a little F.Y.I.:What happens when you drink a coke?

* In The First 10 minutes: 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system. (100% of your recommended daily intake.) You don’t immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because phosphoric acid cuts the flavor allowing you to keep it down.
* 20 minutes: Your blood sugar spikes, causing an insulin burst. Your liver responds to this by turning any sugar it can get its hands on into fat. (There’s plenty of that at this particular moment)
* 40 minutes: Caffeine absorption is complete. Your pupils dilate, your blood pressure
rises, as a response your livers dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in your brain are now blocked preventing drowsiness.
* 45 minutes: Your body ups your dopamine production stimulating the pleasure centers of your brain. This is physically the same way heroin works, by the way.
* >60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium
and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism. This is compounded by high doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increasing the urinary excretion of calcium.
* >60 Minutes: The caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play. (It makes you have to pee.) It is now assured that you’ll evacuate the bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc that was headed to your bones as well as sodium, electrolyte and water.
* >60 minutes: As the rave inside of you dies down you’ll start to have a sugar crash. You may become irritable and/or sluggish. You’ve also now, literally, pissed away all the water that was in the Coke. But not before infusing it with valuable nutrients your body could have used for things like even having the ability to hydrate your system or build strong bones
and teeth.
This will all be followed by a caffeine crash in the next few hours. (As little as two if you’re a smoker.) But, hey, have another Coke, it’ll make you feel better.
